This drawstring bag is SUPER FUN to make and somewhat—perhaps very—addicting. You'll be designing backpacks for everyone you know. Really, who doesn't need a grab-n-go bag for shopping, for date night, for piano lessons, for church, for a bike ride, and beyond?
Kits make shopping -- and sewing -- so very easy. Here are all the fabrics you will need for ONE On the Go Backpack to match the image here. Make sure to pick up a copy of the On the Go Backpack pattern.
Backpack kits -- and finished backpacks as well -- make great gifts. Pick up extra kits to go with your pattern and make several backpacks at once. Get a head start on next year's birthday and holiday gifts.
The "Daydream" backpack kit includes:
• Pursuit Turquoise for main fabric
• Daydream Flame for pocket fabric
• New Wave Pink for pocket-lining fabric
• True Emerald for contrast fabric A
• True Champagne for contrast fabric B
• Wink Sky for strap fabric
• White Solid for lining fabric
Other materials you will need:
• 1 feature button, 3/4" to 1 1/4" in diameter
• 1 button, 1/2" tp 3/4" in diameter (this button will not show on finished backpack)
• Thread

pins, scissors, needle, water-soluble marker, iron, ironing board, safety pins, seam ripper
